“SUPER ZERO®” is a unique technology patented by Asano Nenshi Co., Ltd that revolutionizes the way in which threads are twisted and constructed together. SUPER ZERO begins with spinning together threads with a water-soluble thread and then through a process of vacuum steam pressing, a strongly twisted together single yarn is created. From this point, the thread can then be made into fabric through various methods such as weaving or knitting. When the fabric is washed, the water-soluble thread dissolves, leaving a vacuum of air where the thread once was. This results in creating a fabric that is incredibly lightweight and soft, and maintains is volume due to the structure of the twisted threads. SUPER ZERO can only be produced by the careful craftsmanship of artisans utilizing the specialized thread spinning technology, and attests to the quality of Japanese craftsmanship.
